Group I: France, Senegal, Norway, Iraq
Tournament favourites France (FIFA #1) share a group with Senegal (#14), Africa's most athletic side, and a Norway team (#31) carrying Erling Haaland and Martin Ødegaard. Even Iraq are no pushovers. For the second seeds, this is as hard as it gets.
Group H: Spain, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde
Spain should advance, but Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay (#17) are a brutal second seed, and Saudi Arabia have World Cup giant-killing pedigree. Only debutants Cape Verde look outmatched, and even they will fancy a shock.
